Our Townsville vet clinic provides a range of services, including consultation, neutering, abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography, endoscopy, blood testing, surgery, acupuncture, and behavioural consultations. We offer cat boarding and can manage cats requiring medication while you are away.

Dr Melissa Barbuto BVSc MANZCVSc

Dr Melissa is a very experienced veterinarian who graduated from the University of QLD in 2002. She has worked in Australia and the UK since that time dealing with a wide variety of small animal cases. Dr Melissa has completed extra qualifications in feline behaviour and feline medicine.

They are just amazing people, looked after our stray kitten and provide top service. the welcome staff and nurses are always very sweet to us and the cat. The doctor is very knowledgeable and our kitty seems to be comfortable around her. Also they take vet pay which was a life saver when this cat fell in our lap unexpectedly

Iz wasn't feline very wells so I wang up dese doctors. Despite being fully booked, they made times for me and were kind and unrushed and lets me sniffs erything furoughly. They were weally furough and gave me medicines to feels better and had me climbing da walls again in no time. Fank you so much for looking after me.

I have a former colony cat who doesn't like to be picked up and is very nervous around strangers. At the cat clinic she is calm, the vets are so warm towards her and understand towards her needs. My other cat is inquisitive and just goes with the flow especially if there is a treat involved.
